NZ Ambassador's Shield Rugby Match This Sunday

On Sunday the New Zealand Embassy is hosting the 12th Annual Ambassador's Shield Rugby event at Trinity University in Washington D.C. The tournament's feature game is between the Ambassador's invitational side of New Zealand rugby players, based in the U.S. and Canada, against the D.C. Barbarians.

In 1997, the Ambassador's Shield began as a way to promote the culture of New Zealand in the D.C. area and has now has evolved as an initiative to promote rugby in the United States.
