What better time than the present

So I've missed quite a bit since my last post.

In Philadelphia...

Philadelphia Fight adopted the Fight Vixens Dance Team, the second professional dance team in the nation for rugby. The team was founded and is currently directed by yours truly.

Media RFC was ranked No. 5 in the country.

Saint Joseph's University and Temple University competed to secure the No. 1 Division 2 spot in the EPRU. Temple won and went onto the EPRU final, losing to West Chester 10-12. Saint Joseph's defeated Millersville, earning a spot in the MARFU playoffs.

In the country...

In June 2008, I wrote about Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman starring in a rugby movie, and it will finally hit theaters this Friday - Clint Eatwood's Invictus.

On the world stage...

Rugby, in sevens form, is returning to the Olympic Games in 2016.
